Terms of Service

Article 1 (Scope)

These Terms set forth the conditions for using Waahs ("the Service") provided by the Waahs Operations Team ("we", "us"). Users may access the Service only after agreeing to these Terms.

Article 2 (Definitions)

• ・“User” means an individual or guardian who uses the Service.
• ・“Content” refers to photos, AI-generated images, text, and other information posted on the Service.
• ・“AI Makeover Feature” means the function that turns uploaded photos into cosplay-style images using AI.
• ・“Paid Plan” refers to any paid functionality that may be offered in the future.

Article 3 (Account Registration)

To use the Service you must register an account in the manner we specify.

• ・The Service is intended for users aged 18 or older.
• ・Users under 18 must obtain guardian consent.
• ・Provide accurate information at registration and update it promptly when changes occur.
• ・Only one account may be created per person.
• ・Users are responsible for managing their login credentials.
• ・Uploading photos of children under 13 requires parental consent.

Article 4 (Use of the AI Feature)

Please note the following when using the AI makeover feature:

• ・We do not guarantee the quality of generated results.
• ・Processing time may vary depending on workload.
• ・Uploaded photos are securely deleted or encrypted after processing.
• ・Commercial use of generated images is subject to separate conditions.
• ・Anonymized data may be used to improve AI models.

Article 5 (Posting Content)

You may post content on the Service provided that:

• ・You hold the necessary rights to the content you upload.
• ・Content does not violate others’ privacy or portrait rights.
• ・Depending on your sharing settings, posts may be visible to other users.
• ・We may delete content we deem inappropriate.

Article 6 (Fees and Payment)

For any future paid plans:

• ・Fees are those displayed inside the Service.
• ・Payments are processed via credit card or other designated methods.
• ・Monthly fees are charged automatically based on the contract date.
• ・Fees are non-refundable unless required by law.
• ・Free trials or promotions may end without notice.

Article 7 (Prohibited Conduct)

Users must not engage in the following:

• ・Acts that violate laws or regulations.
• ・Behavior that endangers children’s safety.
• ・Infringement of intellectual property, privacy, or portrait rights.
• ・Registering or posting false information.
• ・Uploading photos of others without permission.
• ・Using generated AI images for inappropriate purposes.
• ・Interfering with operation of the Service.
• ・Harassing or disturbing other users.
• ・Transferring or lending accounts to third parties.
• ・Any other conduct we deem inappropriate.

Article 8 (Intellectual Property)

Ownership of intellectual property related to the Service:

• ・All IP rights to the Service’s system, design, and logos belong to us.
• ・Users retain rights to the original photos they post.
• ・Users also own the AI-generated images.
• ・We may use posted content free of charge to operate, improve, or promote the Service.

Article 9 (Account Suspension or Deletion)

We may suspend or delete accounts if:

• ・The user violates these Terms.
• ・Inappropriate content is repeatedly posted.
• ・The Service is not used for a long period (one year or more).
• ・We otherwise deem the account inappropriate.

Article 10 (Disclaimer)

We are not liable for:

• ・Damages arising from use of the Service (unless caused by willful misconduct or gross negligence).
• ・Quality or accuracy of AI-generated results.
• ・Disputes between users.
• ・Unauthorized use of content by third parties.
• ・Service outages due to system failures or maintenance.
• ・Issues arising from users’ devices or network environments.

Article 11 (Service Changes and Termination)

We may change or discontinue the Service without prior notice. We are not responsible for any damages arising from such changes.

Article 12 (Amendments)

We may amend these Terms as needed. Changes become effective when posted on the Service or notified by email. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Article 13 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction for the first instance over any disputes relating to the Service.
